My box got the ring of doom today and I was wondering if I could ship it to Microsoft or should I just look to get it fixed. I don't got the receipt or warranty just the box

They do honour the warranty And if you phone them and you are still with in your warranty they work fast and they send a courier to pick it up. They are pretty good with stuff like this surprisingly!
360 ALL THEY WAY!!
Oh and you don't need a reciept there is a code on the Xbox and they know when it was sold so you can prove it is within the Warranty time.

Well you can give it a try tell them that you got as a present and you dont have the receipt, if they ask. It should take a couple of weeks up till about a month till you get the replacement 360. Good Luck
