I know for the new vitural pc you have to have windows xp to install this program. This new program will not istall on any lower than xp. windows is no longer "supporting window 98"

The new products from windows now need you to enter a code to varify your personal ownership. If you have bootleg copies it will not install and possible not let the bootleg copy run.

just normal; like for 25 XXV. It won't have the lines on top and bottom but it works.
if you are numbering, writing the numerals out like letters, followed by a fullstop then a ssapce then state the point...when you press enter, Word will auotatically format it into Roman numerals and will number the next points for you.

eg.

i. point noted

Hope that helps
Go to format, bullets and numbering, then click the "numbered tab" and click the upper right option. This is Roman Numerals.

In Microsoft word, where do you turn on the punctuation check?

I asked about microsft word having a punctuation check, like the spell check? I recieved an answer telling me that microsoft word does have spell check and punctuation check. Do I need to turn on something or do something to make it check punctuation errors? Mine tells me if a sentence is fragmented or not, but that's all I believe that it does.

It should be under Tools and then Options in Word. Choose the Spelling %26 grammer tab. You can choose several options, but the one I think you are looking for is Settings (and the drop down above it) This is in Word 2003, but I think 2000 is similar

In Microsoft word, where do you turn on the punctuation check?virus protection software

Go to tools - options, click the spelling and grammar tab . . .you should see this preference.
On the top left side, under File,Edit, View Insert etc. click on the check mark that says ABC. That's for spelling and grammar. None really for punctuation.
You can only rely on the spell check but not the grammar and punctuation and other checks.

About microsoft office???

what are some strengths and some weaknesses about Microsoft office?? i need information about this asap!!!! thank you...

About microsoft office???spyware remove

compare to open office?.

microsoft word is more powerful in function and easy to use and their .doc format is a very very popular format for documents.

Its weakness is you have to pay for it.

unlike open office, which is free. But free things cost you something else, like the .odf format from open office..you cannot open it in computer that doesnt have open office installed on it.

Another thing is, even if you save your document in .doc format in open office, when you open it in microsoft office you will find that the document's arrangement are all messed up. But who am i to complaint about that, its free anyway.

Does Microsoft Works Word Processor "Word Wrap" or "Line Break"?

I want to write a guide for Game FAQs, but I don't know whether I'll need to manually enter line breaks for the end of a line or not. Does Microsoft Works (Word Processor) Word Wrap, or does it actually register as though you pressed "enter" to make the line break? I looked through the help, but I couldn't find anything. Please help.

Microsoft Works, Word, etc. all have word wrap or 鈥渟oft wrap鈥? There are no actual line breaks being inserted, known as a 鈥渉ard wrap鈥?

You'll manually have to take care of the formatting.

%26gt; does it actually register as though you pressed "enter" to make the line break?

Nope. That's called a hard wrap, where actual End-of-line markers (EOL markers) are inserted on every wrap.

I recall all GameFAQ guides being plain text only. You may want to use a plain text editor. Some of the more powerful ones have hard wraps.

I use Vim, which can do this easily. There is a steep learning curve to using it though (for Windows users at least). But if you have an interest in picking up Vim...
