Please tell me the pros and cons of downloading the new Microsoft browser that was recently released. When I went to the site and started to upload the browser, I was told to backup all my files and I don't know how to do that. I am afraid to upload the browser if I don't backup my files. Any advice would be greatly appreciated and I will give 10 points to the best answer!

Give them a lot of time to get the bugs out. Let other users shake it down first, before you jump on.
The reason they want you to make a backup first is that Microsoft has testified in court that Internet Explorer is deeply connected into their operating system. It is not just an application, like say the Firefox web browser is.
So, if anything goes seriously wrong with Internet Explorer 7 on your computer - you could be in quite a pickle.
Waiting a couple weeks and going out and getting a good backup program and some blank CDs or DVDs in a format your drive can write to might not be such a bad idea.

Well the answer would be yes but not yet.
IE7 is still in its infancy well beta stages tbh. Whilst they are still ironing out its bugs and flaws ide stick with IE6. There has been a lot of emails around our company asking us to uninstall any IE7 found on any clients PC's due to the problems that many have encountered.
