i have had microsoft office home and student ed. for about a year now and am running out of hard disk space. i bought a second harddisk and want to transfer mic. office to the second harddisk.
but i want to do this by uninstalling it because the program is not working properly ever since i bought it and re-installing it may help. is it possible to do this WITHOUT TAKING AWAY ANOTHER LICENSE (in other words i want to install it on another computer in the future).
Uninistalling microsoft office home%26student ed. 2007 and installing on a second harddisk???free spyware
Ciao !~
Don't worry! Uninstalling MS 2007 won't take away a license (you've got three, btw). Simply because, if you uninstall it, for example, for word, you can't read the .docx files anymore, so it's rendered useless.
You probably know this, but just in case:
Control Panel -%26gt; Programs and features -%26gt; Microsoft Office -%26gt; Uninstall
Hope this helps! :-)
(vote me for best answer, pleeeeeeeeease?) :D

You will not lose a license because you are re-installing it on the same machine with 2 hard drives.
After uninstalling office, start to install it again and when it prompts you for an install location point it to that other harddrive.
