Will Microsoft Office Standard 2007 work on my laptop running Windows XP Home , SP2?

I have a Gateway laptop 4535 GZ with 2 MB RAM memory (originally purchased with only 512 MB RAM memory). It only has 32 MB on board shared graphics memory (This is one reason I've been planning to sell it and buy a laptop with the graphics memory not shared, but prefer to wait a little longer due to cost). It has an Intel Pentium M, 1700 MHz processor. I currently run Microsoft Office Standard 2003. The BIOS is PTLTD-6040000, 06/29/04. Motherboard Part # is 4096. It has a 100 GB hard-drive, about 55 GB free. I purchased it from Best Buy approximately 2 years ago. Oh, I don't play games on it, but I do like to download music and family pictures on it.

Thank You,

BWeldon
