Am trying to decide whether or not to load my Microsoft Office 2000 disk onto my new computer that has a Windows Vista operating system. I have the option of a free trial Office 2007, and then to later purchase.

well the only reason Microsoft decided to do this is there was hints that the federal government along with other international governments was going to investigate Microsoft for fraud and selling faulty products of which they decded to sell, so MS decided to take a 1 billion dollar hit ind=stead of something higher from all of the gov'ts which was to total over ten billion dollars in fines and repairs. Although this is only a temporary fix to the real problem because the xbox's will break down again because it's a design flaw, and therefore will probably lead to a recall of all MS xbox 360s if the rates continue to go higher in the next couple of months.

No, but try Mozilla's Sunbird. It's free. I use it because I don't use Outlook and it works pretty nice.

As far as I know, you can't.

Excel will insert the picture in its original size, meaning the inserted picture will be, say, 640 x 480 pixels in Excel if it is 640 x 480 pixels in reality.

You can, of course, resize it in several ways after inserting it.

What you're asking may be possible with VBA code but I'm no specialist in that area.
