Has Microsoft fixed the Xbox 360 hardware failing problem?

I've heard that Xbox 360's have been dieing left and right due to overheating and the motherboard warping or something to that effect. Has Microsoft fixed that issue yet? Are new models on the market yet, or will they be?

As long as you keep it in a well ventilated area and not use it too long(8-10hrs) without taking a break you should be fine. The initial problems were fixed but the overheating thing is still a risk that all xbox 360 owners face.
THE ELITE IS............... ******* MICROSOFT
they should of fixed it by now... im pretty sure they did. if you are still worried then keep the xbox off of carpet and on wood
If the Xbox 360 die , microsoft will replace it with a new one .
