If microsoft did take over Yahoo?

You may of heard about the attempts of Microsoft trying to buy and take over Yahoo, but if they did, would they close down Yahoo answers, or charge people to use it?

Because i'd go mental lol.

There are a number of things I think that could happen:

Answers could continue as it is, at least for a while. We'd barely notice the change.

If that happens, I would think they'd spend some time revamping it, maybe look over complaints and guidelines, etc., then put up a new and improved version.

They could shut it down permanently

They could shut it down temporarily

One thing I doubt they'd do... charge. It wouldn't be worth the time or manpower it took to do the bookeeping

I too hate Microsoft with a passion. The jury is out as to whether I'd have anything to do with this site if it were run by MS.

(Yahoo is still in talks with Microsoft. I read it in the paper today. They (Yahoo) want more money, but they do want to sell. There are other companies interested as well.)

They would copy it, and claim to improve it, but you would have to log out and back in after each question you answer.
i bet they would make "MSN answers" exactly the same as this, execpt it would crash almost all of the time.

We cant use Yahoo Answers!!! if they take over, they would ask Validation before logging in.......... Ha Ha Ha

I hate MS, grrrr. They will probably change it, charge for it and use it to sell things that are not needed. MS is the #1 sender of viruses to their own software. It forces people to buy updates or die.
