Installing Microsoft Office 2000?

I want to install Microsoft Office 2000 on my computer (Windows XP). I want to know if installing Office 2000 will affect, delete or replace my existing Office documents (Word, Excel, etc. documents)? Also, will having unauthorized softwares loaded on my computer affect? Plz help.

Hi before installing MS Office 2000 the OS checks for the latest version avaliable first. If u had 2000 later version it says to uninstall that. Installing MS office will not effect any files . Recommended version for XP is 2003 MS office.

No, it will not delete the files. It will not do anything to your programs, either. But why are you just now installing Office 2000? I'd go for Office 2003 or 2007. If you're still using Office 2000, it's about time to upgrade.
It will not replace or delete them no, but it might however cause some of them not to work. If your using Office 2000, some files and file extensions might not be useable afterwards. I would first convert the files to Office 2000 files if you can and then install Office 2000.
