I have the same problem trying to get windows messenger to use my webcam on my laptop. It's a conflict between the 3 software drivers; the webcam software (which is seperate from WDM Image Capture), the Yahoo messenger webcam drivers, and the WDM Image Capture drivers. I have tried uninstall and reinstall the webcam software %26 Yahoo's software a few times but my camera and Yahoo drivers keep conflicting with each other because of the WDM driver. I (personally) am going to go to geeks.com and pose the problem to them and see if they know how to disable the WDM drivers without damaging any other programs.
