Is Microsoft flight sim 10 much better than flightsim 9?

I have microsoft flight simulator 9 and enjoy it very much. I am thinking of buying MS flightsim X and my computer exceeds the requirements for the game. Will my downloaded planes and stuff work with the new sim and is it worth trading up?. Specifically, what are the new features of the newer version?. Seen some clips on Youtube and it showed greater detail and moving automobiles. Any known problems/issues? TIA

FSX is pretty good. Of course, the physics haven't changed, and the controls are pretty much the same. The graphics detail is SLIGHTLY better, and the gameplay is the same. If you really want a feel for it, go to the official site and download the free trial. You can play it for a while and see if you think the TINY graphics upgrade is worth the money.

Problems and issues? It's Microsoft. I've had a few annoying crashes, some data loss, and one reinstall. Those were all when it was pretty new. I'm sure pretty soon I'll have another problem, but what can you expect? It's Microsoft.
