eventually they want to implement trusted computing more fully i think ... if the scheme was fully in place a virus theoretically wouldnt run on the machine ... neither would anything else u didnt pay for ...
they are already starting to move that way with OneCare, you will see more of this with the roll out of the new OS, VISTA.
