Talk about ambiguous error messages - what pray does this mean?

Blue boarderd dialogue box with Error in the dark blue bit at the top - then a yellow triangle with a black exclamation mark in it and next to that it says:-

Unable to init video mode!: No Error

If it's not a bloody error - then why does it say it's an error at the top of the dialogue box?

Like I say - Microsoft crap - yes?

Switch to a Mac buddy...i have Windows and a Mac and i have had more problems with Windows than i ever had with my Mac!!!!!
Since you don't say which Microsoft program produced the error message, I don't know where to look to find the answer. Try going to the Help section of their website at http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/help/F... Maybe you'll find it there.
The error message is pointing to your video card since monitors rarely have any error messages .

Go to the manufacturer's web site for your video card and download their most recent driver for it. It's possible the driver you have now is not working properly because it needs to be updated or damaged or is not the right one.
Honestly. Time to download Linux. If you haven't already heard, Linux (unlike Windows or Mac) is Completely Free.
