Marc G. I'm not sure where you got your info but you're 100% wrong.

Microsoft Office 2003-2007 has ALWAYS been available in volume licensing, ie, not retail box, not OEM, but an actual licensing program where you buy the media and the licenses.

It's required that you buy a minimum of 5 licenses to begin with, then for the next 2 years you can add 1 or more licenses at a time, at a discounted rate, for the duration of the 2 year period. There's a significant discount for open volume licensing but you have to meet certain requirements to qualify.

This is what businesses do that have hundreds of computers. Do you think they buy a boxed product or OEM version for each computer?

Here's just one example from CDW http://www.cdw.com/shop/products/default...

To answer Yviebee's question, no it is not possible to get upgrades open license. The cheapest thing you can do is get an OEM upgrade.

Sorry to be rough on you, but you shouldn't post so confidently if you have no idea what you are talking about.

All versions of Office 2007 are available in open licensing from standard to small business to professional and enterprise
