i need to transfer a science report from my PC to my schools Mac by emailing it to myself but will it be able to open it on my school mac? btw they have those newer macs that are the size of a regular flat screen lcd/tft screen(2-3in thick)



and they have microsoft word on the macs too

If the mac has word, you'll be okay. Also if it has pages. If it doesn't have either, try saving it as an .rtf (rich text) file and open in preview. You may have to open the application first and then open the file within the application.

It does matter. There is a compatibility issue between Word 2007 and Word 2003. As long as the Mac and Windows have some version of Word, it will work. If you are typing on the 2007 edition, and you want to email it to a 2003 or lower edition, do this: Save as%26gt;2003-94 Compatible. Hope it helps.
